as the cornerstone that underpins the principles upon which Thriving Fit™️ is based, I have, for several decades, passed on recommendations in terms of diet — The True Diet™️ to be exact.
As they say: When you’re on a good thing, stick to it.
How To Feed as Team Human Was Meant To
The real question in need of addressing: Is there such as thing as “one true diet?”
With some fine-tuning and personalizing, the answer is absolutely yes.
This Book’s Background:
Most often, the recommendations I’ve made over the years were given one-on-one. Face-to-face. We’re talking as long ago as the mid-late 80s. That’s how we did things back in the day. Individually. Personally. Over time, as demand grew for the information, I began creating printed handouts. This helped. As you can imagine, consulting with just one person at a time was time-consuming. It eventually became exceedingly so.
Then . . . along came the Internet.
Suddenly, the handouts could be emailed or Posted online. This was the mid-90s.
Now, here we are, all these years later.
Today, the demand is so high I figured the best way to service the ever-growing need would be to assemble all-you-need-to-know into a comprehensive but simple-to-follow guide. Not an encyclopaedia. Not another 400-page manual padded with a whole lot of information you simply don’t need.
Instead, I wrote a shorter book designed to be a quick read, by getting straight to the heart of the matter. The idea was to create something that would give you the basic tools to get you implementing change from day one. Today, even. I mean, really, why wait? Why wait until you’ve waded thru tons of totally irrelevant information?

or The Native Diet?
is presently in the latter stages of completion. (And I ought add, not to confuse it with its bigger brother, The Native Diet™️, which is designed to be a more comprehensive deep-dive into the nitty gritty of all things diet and nutrition.)
Essentially, what this book will give you is everything you need to get started, to see the results, to experience the benefits, and to keep going — All without having to become a scientist or nutritionist in the process.
Further, unlike almost every other ‘diet’ book on the market, there are no supplements necessary. No studies to read. No special foods to buy. No fancy, time-consuming recipes to follow.
Now is as good time as any to point out that we’re not actually talking ‘diet’
in the typical sense. We’re talking diet as in the food we humans are designed to
consume, along with the feeding prinicples that best support optimal wellness.
This whole dietary/health business — and it is a business; a huge multi-billion dollar industry — is rather simple at its core. But in a world where the diet and nutrition space is so needlessly overcrowded, and so downright confusing, no one’s telling you that. So, I figured a straightforward guide, with commonsense language, that could bring you the results you’re after, without the fuss, would be a good and well overdue fit.

In many ways, you’ll find The True Diet™️ to be
A PURE ELIMINATION DIET.
This is true because we are indeed eliminating foods known to be harmful and inflammatory. All of them, in fact. We’re talking about foods that are known to lead to or contribute to poor health and chronic disease states.
However, thinking of this as only an elimination diet would be missing the bigger picture. That said, the elimination component is most definitely a critical aspect that ought never be underestimated.
What we’re really focusing on here is the practise of feeding the body high energy foods that are nutrient dense. That is, after all, the whole point of feeding: To provide us with energy and nutrients. Nothing more. Certainly nothing less.
A COMMON PITFALL
that almost everyone encounters when ‘dieting’ — and let’s reitereate what was made clear from the outset: this is not a diet — is that longstanding issues surrounding the relationship with food raise their ugly heads in such a way as to seriously combat the best of efforts and the best of intentions.
So, yes we do look at addressing this vital area because it is neglected in every diet, every approach to eating, out there. And the consequence of not amending this is that no matter how well you start out, there is always the risk that your poor relationship with food will come back to haunt you at some stage. It will sabotage you. Guaranteed!
So, regardless of how you prefer to look at it, your relationship with foods needs to be healed. Repaired. Corrected. Permanently.

At the core of The True Diet™️ are the principles and indisputable facts derived from mankind’s millions of years of evolution.
Personally, I’m a fan of #TeamHuman.
As such, I’m an advocate of feeding in ways that have allowed the human organism to thrive. In terms of feeding, we’re talking about what has constituted the longest mainstay of our native diet. Our one true diet.
At heart, we humans are primarily carnivores. Facultative carnivores to be precise. We’re here to feed on animals. We’re here to thrive.
LET’S GET 100% CRYSTAL ON ONE THING:
I am a #CARNIVORIST. And while there’s nothing to stop vegans reclaiming their health, too, this is not a veganism-friendly environment. That is unless you’re a vegan who’s ready to supercharge your health and begin correcting the myriad health issues the inherently malnourishing vegan diet is subjecting you to. You wouldn’t be the first I’ve witnessed convert.
